Fields of education are selected on the criteria of the actual occupational needs of the neighbouring country and the genuine ability of the Foundation to provide this training on a satisfactory level. The fields of study that have been offered at the Vocational Training Centre in recent years are four:
1. Auto body repairs – course duration: 2 years.
2 Cooking/confectionery – course duration: 2 years.
3. Plumbing/heating – course duration: 2 years
4. Hairdressing – course duration: 1 year.
All fields of specialisation have their own workshops, fully equipped with modern machinery, where practical training is provided that accounts for at least 50% of the total period of study. The emphasis placed on practical training aims to make the graduates capable of practising their trade immediately. Furthermore, the implementation and use of the Internet is also taught, as a professional tool in all fields of specialisation.

GRADUATES PER FIELD OF EDUCATION 2000-2008
Establishing graduates in their trade in Albania presents significant difficulties, such as the lack of infrastructure, the insecurity and the financial recession. Despite all this, however, between 22-25% of graduates returned to their homeland and achieved significant professional success. Of the graduates who remained in Greece, many have had particular success in their field. The distribution of graduates’ country of employment is depicted in the following chart:
