In the academic year 2006-2007, the Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Albanians of Greek Descent, in collaboration with the University of Ioannina, embarked on a joint programme of conferring annual awards to Albanian students of Greek descent, under the title “Awards of the Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Albanians of Greek Descent (IAOA)”.
The purpose of these awards is to reward performance and provide financial assistance based on social criteria to undergraduate and postgraduate Albanian students of Greek descent at the following Schools and Departments of the University of Ioannina:
1. School of Philosophy
2. School of Sciences
3. School of Medicine
4. School of Education
5. School of Sciences and Technologies
6. Department of Economics
7. Department of Plastic Arts and Art Sciences
